THE MARKSMAN’S BOX
The Marksman’s Box is used instead of a bipod or front rest. The Marksman’s Box is also ammunition storage and carrier and spotting scope mount. I find it allows me to reduce the number of items I carry to the range.

Designed for Rifle, Pistol, and Revolver Shooting Stability
Easy Set Up as a Spotting Scope Base
No Leveling Necessary
Ammunition Storage and Transportation (320 rds 30-06)
1/4 Lexan Construction (16 X 7 X 4 1/2 ) Almost indestructable
Machine Screw and Nut Construction
112 Sq inches Non Slip Base
Allows Horizontal Movement for Fast Target acquisition

The Marksman’s Box outside dimensions are 16" x 7" x 4 1/2". The Marksman’s Box is constructed of 1/4" Lexan, a polycarbonate which is used in airplane windows and fighter plane canopies. Lexan is virtually indestructible. All surface mounted components ( 8 hinges and three strap hangers ) are secured with # 12 Machine screws and nuts. Nothing will work loose.
The Marksman’s Box was designed to be used anywhere. Use it on the range or in the field to shoot varmints such as prairie dogs, coyotes etc. at close and quite long ranges. The strap used as a forearm rest is easily adjusted from 5" to 9" to raise or lower the forearm height. The base dimensions of 16" X 7" create a 112 square inch non slip base for shooting.

I designed the box because there wasn't anything on the market that could do what the box can do. It is very portable, very versatile and useful. You can use it anywhere, on the range off the bench, off the hood of your Rolls Royce without scratching it, off the ground in the prone shooting varmints or in F class competition.

No other rifle rest on the market has storage for Ammunition or can be a spotting scope base. I have had 320 rounds of 30, 06 in the box, how many rounds of .223 it will hold I do not know, but a bunch I presume.
The Marksman’s Box does not need leveling as do other rests. Throw it on the ground anywhere and the belt automatically finds the spot to rest your rifle by letting gravity do what it does. You can swing the rifle from left to right. Other rifle rests including bipods will not let you move horizontally as easily and effortlessly giving the shooter a wide range of targets.

The Marksman’s Box is easy and fast to set up and use. Once it is set up the ammo is right there in front of your nose and with a little camera mount (not supplied) you can mount a spotting scope on the box which is conveniently in front of you. One guy who bought it said it is so simple it’s stupid, I thought that was a fair description
Throw the box behind the seat of your pick up and forget it until you need it. It stores easily and is small enough to be out of the way just about anywhere.

I have sold over 600 of them since I started making them, none have come back broken, or come back because of dissatisfaction. Those who bought one would not give it up and some have bought their 2nd one to give as a gift. They are solidly sold on the attributes and functions of the box.
It is just as convenient to shoot a pistol over also, just place the trigger guard on the belt and blaze away, works great.

I shot 1000 yds. in a 5 shot match. My score of 14.83"s placed third in group and 3rd in score out of 20 shooters on the line with a 6.5X55 Swedish Mauser using my box. It is as steady as any rest on the market. And I will go up against any other rest at any range with an equal
quality rifle.

Lexan is tough
Seems this Arkansas guy wanted some beer pretty bad. He decided that he'd just throw a cinder block through a liquor store window, grab some booze, and run. He lifted the cinder block and heaved it over his head at the window. The cinder block bounced back knocking him unconscious. Seems the liquor store window was made of LEXAN.
